Here is a list of the different types of music video services we provide.

DirectingI have been directing music videos and short films for over 4 years now. Although I am now focusing exclusively on music videos and commercials at the moment, my background in storytelling and film aesthetics brings a movie style and appeal to my work.

I believe all media is a form of storytelling, wether the artist intended it to communicate something or not, and music videos can encompass all of the art forms at the same time. Consistency in your musical style is the key to success in this business, and I can provide you with the visual consistency that will help you promote your music.

YouTube video promotionDo you have a video that looks and sounds great but only has a couple thousand views? Getting a deal with a label takes a lot of work and you have to show them that people are listening, and liking your music. I can help you with getting your music video out there by promoting it online, the rest is up to your fans.

EditingI have also been editing for over 8 years, I started with a little program(not so little anymore), called Premiere to edit together sequences of 3D animations I was putting together. Since then I have been editing documentaries, projects for television, short films, commercials and over 40 music videos so far.

I cut exclusively on a Final Cut Pro(FCP) and AFX, High Definition machine, usually with 24p(progressive frame) format for a more film-like feel.

Visual FXSince I also have a background Visual FX, I understand what is needed in a particular shot and can communicate to the FX department what is needed while on and off the set. Whether shooting an 3D tracked arm, getting the right FX artist to fix a small frame and clean up shots or create movement from inanimate objects, we can make your video pop however you want it to.

Color CorrectionThe consistency brought to a project with proper use of color correction tools such as After Effects Image controls or FCP's Color can make or break a music video. Videos like Deepstep's 'Parallel Escape' might seem like a special effect, but are actually created with advanced color correction techniques. If you shoot a video in several different places and lighting setups, color correcting the final video gives your work the professional polish that helps you work stand out of the crowd.

Cinematography/Camera WorkEverything I shoot is in High Definition video, unless a customer chooses Standard Definition(Television format) for projects such as concerts or album release party coverage. I bring many years of using all sorts of digital video cameras, it is a different beast from film so you have to know how to light accordingly for your shots. I setup the majority of the shots for the work on my reel, I can help you shoot your video if you are the one directing.

ProducingWant to direct your own video but do not have connections with beefed up cars, models, bikers that do tricks or maybe you need a studio to shoot on green screen? Organizing a shoot with many different schedules can be tough at times, but this is how Hollywood films are shot. I bring a solid track record of getting videos shot and shot professionally, from preparing shots, to meeting deadlines to making sure your production runs smoothly.
